Only that

The lines were black and white,
Sitting there so uptight.
Pages and pages of it,
She had her heart at it.
The spine has given away,
The pages were fading,
It was not the best,
But, that was what she wanted.

There were so many,
Piled up in huge rows,
Many others in shelfs,
All around her.
But, she had eyes only for one.

It looked enchanted,
No, she was the one,
Who had lost her mind,
In the hopes of unrealistic realms.
It sat there happily,
When she got lost in it.

She wanted it.
She decided for herself.
You can't have it,
She was said.
But, i want only that,
Her mind fumed.
